This report summarizes the results of a study of animal bones found during rescue excavations carried out in 1990 during the construction of the Nueva Fabrica urban development in the Tunjuelito valley in the south of Bogotá. The predominance of deer bones is interesting in view of the imprtance of this animal in American cultures from precolombian times.
