It is noteworthy that the results from the case study, with a sample of employees from the organization, reveal that the majority considers themselves motivated and recognizes the presence of meritocracy within the company. ; La meritocracia es una herramienta de gestión de personas muy utilizada en empresas públicas y privadas. Para lograr este propósito, los datos se recolectaron a través del método hipotético-deductivo, y se utilizó el enfoque mixto. La población fue de 100 trabajadores, con una muestra de 65 individuos. Los datos se obtuvieron a través de la aplicación de encuestas (preguntas cerradas), las cuales fueron procesadas desde el software Microsoft Office Excel 2016. La meritocracia es como una filosofía que fomenta el desempeño y la motivación de los empleados de la organización. Cabe destacar que los resultados del estudio de caso con una muestra de empleados de la organización revelan que la gran mayoría se considera motivada y que son capaces de reconocer la meritocracia como algo que realmente ocurre en la empresa. ; A meritocracia é uma ferramenta de gestão de pessoas muito utilizada nas empresas públicas e privadas.
