This paper is dedicated to the restructuring of the public transport network of the Charleroi Metropole in Wallonia, Belgium, a rather vast and contrasted area, facing urban sprawl and solo driving’s supremacy. This adjustment means a total redesign of the level of service of pre-existing lines, especially in the urban area, where the transport offer must be more competitive than private cars, demanding high level of service.
