Since the early 2000s, an increasing number of teenage novels represents homosexuality and makes the homosexual hero a fictional character. Should we conclude that mentalities are progressing by making sexual diversity a theme in children's literature or, on the contrary, that these representations actually perpetuate a stereotyped image of male homosexuality?
