In 2016, the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (FWB - French-speaking part of Belgium) launched of a deep reform of its educational system, called ‘Pact for Excellence in Education’ (PEE). “Physical Activities, Wellbeing and Health” represents one of the 8 central domains. A group of experts from the 12 French-speaking institutions involved in physical education teacher education (CAPBES) collaborated to identify, design and share teaching resources respecting the principles advocated by the PEE and aiming to promote physical activity, wellbeing and health in schools in a way to change the society. The CAPBES prepared 148 fact sheets analyzing initiatives that could inspire PE teachers and school staff members (77 from FWB). The fact sheets are posted on a digital platform managed by the public authorities (e-classse.be) available for the educational community. The presentation will describe the process and illustrate concrete resources implemented in FWB.
