Actions for Damages in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Germany

According to the European Commission, the vast majority of large antitrust damages actions are currently being brought in three Member States—the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom. These actions are mostly follow-on damages claims and almost exclusively relate to cartel infringements. They are still in the early stages and the judgments that have been issued thus far tend to relate to procedural questions like jurisdiction, a stay of the legal proceedings and document exhibition.
