This work was essential theme for the analysis of sports associations of the City of Luxembourg based on a survey desired by its political authorities. Luxembourg is the capital of the same name country and is among the countries with a high GDP which may suggest that sport has a privileged status. The work is based on two parts; the first focusing on describing the peculiarities of the country to identify its strengths and weaknesses in their sports organization and thus incorporate the data from the survey carried out in its global context, especially the capital of the country is almost the only city to feature a full sports service. In the second, an inventory of respondents clubs was compiled which allowed to focus on important facts and to make some recommendations addressed not only to the City of Luxembourg but also to other sectors the sports organization, the state and the clubs themselves. After work, we have found that despite the physical assets of the country, the state of the sport organization does not mean flawless. ; Ce travail a pour thème essentiel l’analyse des associations sportives de la Ville de Luxembourg sur base d’une enquête souhaitée par ses autorités politiques. Luxembourg est la capitale du pays du même nom figurant parmi les pays dotés d’un PIB élevé ce qui peut laisser supposer que le sport y a un statut privilégié. Le travail repose sur deux parties ; la première s’attachant à décrire les particularités du pays pour en dégager les atouts et les faiblesses au niveau de son organisation sportive et ainsi intégrer les données de l’enquête réalisée dans son contexte global, d’autant que la capitale du pays est quasi la seule ville à être dotée d’un service des sports complet.
