ANALISIS PRODUKSI SUSU, PERSENTASE PROTEIN SUSU DAN KONSUMSI HIJAUAN SAPI FH (Fries Holland) PADA TINGKAT LAKTASI YANG BERBEDA DI UPT RUMINANSIA BESAR DINAS PETERNAKAN KABUPATEN KAMPAR

This study was conducted in July to August 2010 at UPT Ruminansia Besar Dinas Peternakan Kabupaten Kampar. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of lactation levels on milk production, milk protein percentage and forage consumption. Variables observed in this study included the production of milk, milk protein percentage and forage consumption. Experimental design used was completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 (three) treatments of the cow's 1st lactation; 2nd; and 3rd and 3 (three) tests performed on eight heads of cattle. Results showed an average milk production on 1s... Mehr ...

Results showed an average milk production on 1st lactating cows was 5.16 liters/head/day; 2nd lactatiting 6.65 liters/head/day; and 3rd lactatiting 4.55 liters/head/day. The average protein content of cow's milk on 1st lactatiing was 4.54%/head/day; 2nd lactating 4.99%/head/day; and 3rd lactatiing 5.27%/ head/day. The average consumption of forage in 1st lactating cows was 32.68 kg/head/day; 2nd lactatiing 36.25 kg/head/day; and 3rd lactating 40.08 kg/head/day. Different lactation levels of FH cows at UPT Ruminansia Besar Dinas Peternakan Kabupaten Kampar did not affect milk production and milk protein content but affected the consumption of forage.
