Palmetto Mayor J.J. Holland
Mayor John "Toby" Holland: Palmetto City Mayor 1976-1981. and Palmetto Police Commissioner 1976-1981, Palmetto Fire Commissioner 1976-1981. He was also a Manatee County Fair Board Director 1976-1980 and served on the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council from1976-1981. Elected to the Florida House in 1986, then subsequently reelected.
