This thesis work focuses on the territorial development of the Natural Mineral Water sector (bottling and hydrotherapy), with 17 study sites in dual-use situations in France and Belgium. The panel of sites includes 2 sites in Belgium (Walloon Region: Chaudfontaine and Spa), and 15 sites in France including 8 sites in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region (Châteauneuf-les-Bains, Thonon-les-Bains, Evian-les-Bains, Aix-les-Bains, Divonne-les-Bains, Vichy-Saint Yorre, Vals-les-Bains, Meyras), 2 sites in the Grand-Est Region (Contrexéville-Vittel, Niederbronn-les-Bains), 2 sites in Occitanie region (Luchon, Lamalou-les-Bains), and 3 other sites in Hauts de France, Nouvelle-Aquitaine and on Reunion Island (Saint-Amand-les-Eaux, Dax and Cilaos).Faithful to regional science, we start from concepts of spatial economy and sociological tools to move towards economic geography. Based on the notion of local economy, the study focuses on the reciprocal links between local actors (bottling plant, spa establishment, local communities, etc.), their strategies, methods of enhancing the resource and trajectories. development results. The objective of this work is to identify typologies of development trajectories to highlight generalizable trends. The purpose of the reflection is to offer a new, broader vision of observation, analysis and evaluation based on experience and common paths in a sector. This analysis provides a global and transversal look at the Natural Mineral Water sector, at the national and European level, by transcending sectoral divisions and by privileging the territorial entry on the valuation of the Natural Mineral Water natural resource. This action research work is aimed at all players in the MNE sector, and therefore more particularly both users of uses in the Natural Mineral Water sector and local authorities. ; Ce travail de thèse porte sur le développement territorial de la filière Eau Minérale Naturelle (embouteillage et thermalisme), avec 17 terrains d’études en situation de double usage en France et en ...
