Crematorium in Ostend, Belgium ; Crematorio en Ostende, Bélgica

The crematorium is an important public building. It has however an ambiguous relationship with self expression, torn between its own technical content and its ceremonial character. To overcome this we designed the building as a big inclined table of which the roof is the protagonist. Para superar esto se diseña el edificio como una gran mesa inclinada en la que la cubierta es la protagonista. Como una naturaleza muerta desarrollada junto con el artista Richard Venlet,el edificiopretende comunicar su particular contenido público.
