International audience ; Sabar dances and percussion, as practices of the gueew, are present in the North of Senegal, and could be considered as endogenous forms. Ballet manding dances and percussion came from social practices of Mali, Guinea, Casamance transposed on stage and diffused by the west african national ballets since the independence years. These musico-choreograpahic forms are successful in the north of Senegal, notably at young people and at the new artist’s generation.
