The COVID-19 outbreak's negative effects continue to have a severe influence on socio-cultural and economic issues worldwide. This study aims to examine the role of social capital on both social cohesion and community resilience during the COVID19 pandemic in Sabah, Malaysia. Several instruments were used in the study to assess the level of resilience in relation to communities’ social capital and cohesion. Using a convenience sampling procedure, data were gathered online from the two districts (Kota Belud and Semporna) in Sabah, Malaysia. Online survey forms were utilized to collect responses, and a total of 345 respondents submitted their questionnaires. IBM SPSS 28 was used for data analysis. Results indicate that during Endemic Era, societal cohesiveness and family resilience are positively correlated with community social capital and cohesion.
