It was caused by heavy rainfall so that the soil no longer could absorb and hold water. The flood occurred in the areas, which are close to the water channel/waterline. Heavy rain also resulted in landslides in several places. This flash flood was occurred in almost all points in Sukajaya and Sukakarya District. The unavailability of flood hazard map resulted in obstruction of carrying out programs and disaster management for local government, especially Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD). This study aims to determine the flood maps based on incidence data; to analyze the flood in Kota Sabang which includes extensive inundation, to determine the lives exposed to the disaster, and to calculate the amount of loss; to make efforts in reducing the risk of flash floods. This research was a quantitative approach by doing a direct observation survey to the impact areas and interviewing stakeholders and its public. The method used is a simple analysis using Geographic Information System (GIS). Based on the analysis, the results obtained that the most impacted area is Ie Meulee village (46,01 ha) with 230 lives exposed and the losses of Rp. 690.182.709, -. Meanwhile, the least impacted area was occurred in Kuta Timu village (7,92 ha) with the number of people exposed to 40 lives and the losses of Rp. 119.327.980, -. Comprehensive flood that occurred in Balohan village (39,65ha) with the number of people exposed to 198 lives and the losses of Rp. 594.729.264, -. Comprehensive flood that occurred in Aneuk laot village (6,4 ha) with the number of people exposed to 82 lives and the losses of Rp. 246.309.898, -.
