Efecto de la perturbación mediante corte sobre la vegetación herbácea de sabana

The periodical changes in height, growth rate and above ground biomas of the herb layer were studied in Yaguaramas savanna, Cienfuegos province Cuba, to know the regeneration capacity and the answer to disturbance. Fifteen permanent one meter square plots were cutted off at soil level from which vegetation was putted out completly. The results show the dominance for principal species was changed, throught the stablished growing peak for this savanna was maintened. Citation: Pérez, E. & Armas. M. 1987.
