Utilización de tecnosoles para la restauración de suelos: estudio de caso en el conjunto residencial Altos de Guadalupe, Sabanalarga-Atlántico

Technosols are soils produced from organic and inorganic solid waste, designed to improve soil fertility. In this degree work carried out in the Altos de Guadalupe residential complex in Sabanalarga, Atlántico, the potential of Technosols as a sustainable alternative to improve soil quality was investigated, using a mixed type methodology, evaluative, exploratory in design of experimental field, based on the physical characterization of the waste used for the production of technosols and subsequently carrying out analysis of the nutrients released during the experimental stages. The green dura... Mehr ...

The green duranta was used as a model plant in the common areas of the residential complex to evaluate the effectiveness of the Tecnosols in comparison with untreated soils. Finally, a per capita production for solid waste (PPC) of 0.56 kg/inhab*day was obtained and an increase in the concentrations of phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, boron and sulfur in the treated soils, leading to an increase of 5.4% in the content of organic matter and the superior development of plants treated with Tecnosols, with an increase of 11% and 30% in height at 90 and 300 days, respectively, and 90% in fresh weight of roots compared to untreated plants. These findings highlight the effectiveness of Tecnosols as a strategy to improve soil fertility and productivity in residential environments, supporting the promotion of sustainable waste management practices applied to urban and peri-urban agriculture, making a valuable contribution to Sustainable Development Goals 11 and 12. ; Los Tecnosoles son suelos producidos a partir de residuos sólidos orgánicos e inorgánicos, diseñados para mejorar la fertilidad del suelo.
