This article aims to think with Paulo Freire about the training of Mathematics teachers in Degrees in Rural Education. Even though Freirean concepts often do not appear directly expressed in the documents or practices linked to this training, we believe that our patron's thinking allows us to qualify the reading of these training processes, in a critical and reflective approach.
