PRELIMINARY CHECKLIST OF BORNEAN CYRTANDRA (GESNERIACEAE)

A checklist of Bornean Cyrtandra (Gesneriaceae) is presented. One hundred and seventy-six names are accepted, including eight varieties and two subspecies. Three names are considered of uncertain status because no type material has been found, and nine names are lectotypified. Information on Bornean Cyrtandra is very scattered, and for a number of species, illustrations and amplified descriptions were published after the original protologue. Therefore, this checklist has been compiled and annotated to consolidate all this information in a single reference work.
