Wikification of KB's digital collections - KB summerschool, 25 June 2024

This 45 minutes presentation explainsthe added value of putting images, stories and metadata of digitised collection highlights of the KB, national library of the Netherlands, into the Wikimedia infrastructure. By putting our collection highlights into Wikidata (metadata), Wikimedia Commons (images) and Wikipedia (stories), dozens of new functionalities have been added. As a result of 'Wikifying' these collection objects, you can do things with these highlights that were not possible before.
