Each chapter in Part II can be read on its own. ; Nederland heeft een unieke uitgangspositie in de life sciences. Ons wetenschappelijke onderzoek behoort tot de top drie in de wereld en we hebben een aantal sterke industriesectoren in de life sciences sector. Sinds 1997 hebben academici, industrie en de overheid op grote schaal de krachten gebundeld in publiek-private samenwerking om de vertaalslag van kennis naar nieuwe producten tot stand te brengen. Partners in de polder geeft een visie op een toekomst waarin we gezamenlijk geïnvesteerd hebben in life sciences. De visie richt zich op de rol van publiek-private samenwerking (PPS) en doet drie aanbevelingen om de bloeiende life sciences sector tot volledige groei te brengen.
