Prognosis of patients with dementia after admission to a Dutch nursing home

Modern medicine is focused on diagnosing and treating diseases in order to cure a patient from his disease, to relieve his symptoms, and, in most cases, to increase his life-expectancy. Alas, until now there is no cure for most patients who have dementia.
