The contributor shared that their father, Manfred Leiserowitsch, was born in 1921 in Berlin. The contributor's paternal grandmother, Hertha Revy, was born in 1897 in Berlin, and their paternal grandfather, Simon Leiserowitsch, was born in Germany in the 1890s. The contributor's paternal grandparents divorced, and soon after, Simon remarried and had a son named Eric Leiseroff, who escaped with his mother to the USA via Spain in 1942.
