Abstract:The political study of the currency in the Southern Netherlands raises the question about the finance government which can been seen in two general aspects: first, the political authority confronted with the « violence of currency », i.e. the violence of the market ; second, under the aspect of the technical means. She « invented » in a way a sovereign practice of currency, granting to markets and to the local powers of the piece of her authority for the benefit of a strong currency, the success of which was greeted in all Europe. ; El estudio político de la moneda en los Países Bajos lleva al historiador a examinar el gobierno de la hacienda bajo dos enfoques: el de la autoridad política confrontada a la “violencia de la moneda” y el de los medios de gobierno. Desde Viena, la emperatriz puso en marcha una reorganización del sistema de los Países Bajos modificando el gobierno de las casas de moneda y las formas de acción de Bruselas.
