Western middle powers and global poverty : the determinants of the aid policies of Canada, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden

This study attempts to answer why the policies of the five countries covered are marked by a greater degree of "humane internationalism" than those of other Western countries. It discusses what it is that causes the variations between the policies of these five countries.
