The contribution of specific causes of death to mortality differences by marital status in the Netherlands

The purpose of this study was to describe the differences in mortality by marital status in the Netherlands in the period 1986–1990 for specific causes of death and to estimate the contribution of each specific cause to the differences in total mortality.
