This paper aims at comprehensively describing these relatively unknown reservoirs and speculating on additional play potential outside of the current production areas. The Muschelkalk formation consists of partially porous Lower and Upper Muschelkalk carbonates separated by tight Middle Muschelkalk evaporites.
