The article aims to analyze the characteristics of a reformist public policy based on the Brazilian educational reform that culminated in the implementation of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). Through bibliographical and documentary research, the role of public policies is presented and how they relate to the proposals of international organizations and national business groups.
