By studying it in a cross-border context, the thesis contributes to this scientific literature on a topic that has not yet been fully explored. The process is analyzed here in a systemic way with the help of three inputs: using a spatio-temporal and multiscalar territorial analysis, learning about the experience of degrowth and taking into account its governance. The methodology used involves both statistical and cartographic analyses, qualitative interviews and surveys of planning procedures. This research protocol shows the manifestations of degrowth and the variety of their repercussions in terms of development and urban planning. ; La décroissance urbaine est un sujet récent et en pleine émergence dans la littérature scientifique bien qu’embryonnaire en France. En l’étudiant en contexte transfrontalier, la thèse contribue à cette littérature scientifique sur un thème encore peu défriché. Le processus est ici analysé de façon systémique à l’aide de trois entrées : faire appel à une analyse territoriale spatio-temporelle et multiscalaire, prendre connaissance du vécu de la décroissance et tenir compte de sa gouvernance. La méthodologie employée a trait à la fois à des analyses d’ordre statistique et cartographique, à des entretiens qualitatifs et à des enquêtes sur les procédures d’aménagement. Ce protocole de recherche donne à voir les manifestations de la décroissance et la variété de leurs répercussions en termes d’aménagement et d’urbanisme.
