Affectation humain et fertilité des sols au Néolithique ancien sur quelques sites du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg et de Lorraine.

This paper presents the pedological study of four Neolithic sites situated in the North Eastern France (Gavisse and Ay-sur-Moselle) and Luxembourg (Weiler-la Tour and Remerschen). The soil characteristics studied through combined field observations, micromorphology and laboratory analyses permitted the discussion about erosion/sedimentation processes, size of fields and the fertility of these soils at the moment of Neolithic land-use.
