Mobilité comparée du potassium dans quelques matériaux de structure hollandite

International audience ; The ionic conductivity of solid solutions of KxMx/2Ti8-x/2O16 (M = Mg, Zn) and KxAlxTi8-xO16 (1.60 ≤ x ≤ 2.00) was measured at 400-800 K. The presence of unidimensional tunnels in these materials yields high conductivity (∼10-4 Ω-1 cm-1). The activation energies are 0.5-1.2 eV. Structure and the chem. bonding explain the K+ mobility in these materials.
