Parosmodes Holland, 1896 Of the three described species of this Afrotropical genus (Ackery et al . 1995), we have reared only P. morantii morantii (Trimen) the eastern subspecies of the widespread P. morantii . Vuattoux (1999) reared the western subspecies, P. moranti axis Evans once from Combretum racemosum (Combretaceae) in Côte d’Ivoire. The two subspecies will need to be separated as valid species (T.B.
