Evaluation of the taxonomic status of Eurytides marcellus form "floridensis" (W. Holland, 1898) (Papilionoidea, Papilioninae, Leptocircini)

Form "floridensis" (W. Holland, 1898) was described as an infrasubspecific form of Eurytides marcellus. This paper evaluates itstaxonomic standing and determines that correct authorship of the name at subspecific rankis to be reassigned to Klots (1951). Thus, Eurytides marcellus floridensis Klots, 1951 is recognized as the subspecies of the Florida peninsula.
