Three newly-elected fellows of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers were presented their certificates by Dr. G.M. Ketchum, chairman of the Schenectady section of A.S.M.E. (Left to Right) Thomas Hull, Jr., chairman of the honors and awards committee of the Schenectady section; three newly-elected fellows, Anthony J. Nerad, Alplaus; P. Holland Knowlton, Jr. 1382 Keyes Avenue; and Howard D. Kelsey, 805 Riverside Avenue, Scotia, and Dr. Ketchum. All of the men are General Electric engineers. To qualify, for election as a fellow, an engineer must have practiced his profession actively for 25 years, must have been a member of ASME for 13 years and have ""acknowledged engineering attainments.""
