Donald J. Bruggink is a man of fervent commitments. Some of those commitments are personal. Don has been and continues to be devoted to Erma VanRoekel Bruggink and to their two sons—Donald Ian (born 1957, died in 1983) and John Gerrit (born 1960). Don's family ties are worthy of our admiration. They and a number of other personal relationships (some of which Mary and I have been privileged to share with Don and Erma) could provide stacks of evidence bearing witness to the tender, caring person that Don is.
