What if the rich child has poor parents? The relationship from a Flemish perspective
his chapter in the book edited by Peter Moss looks at the relations between early childhood care and education and compulsory school from a Flemish perspective. In the Flemish context, where there is universal provision of ECEC, the view on ECEC as preparing for CSE leads to coercive practices, without including parents in the debates about there children.
