Biology Teacher Education in Flanders and in France. Results of an Erasmus Staff Mobility Teaching Assignment

Having been a biology teacher educator as well as an Erasmus co-ordinator for more than a decade, the content of this article combines both professions of the author. First this article focuses on the benefits of the Erasmus programme for staff of higher education institutes in Europe, by describing a personal experience of the author: a study visit to the Institute Universitaire de Formation des Maîtres in Guadeloupe.
