OBJECTIVE: The Cohort Hip and Cohort Knee (CHECK) is a cohort of middle-aged individuals with hip or knee pain. Radiographs were assigned Kellgren & Lawrence (KL) scores under different conditions at each follow-up visit for 10 years.
