Forest, Lawn, and Garden represent the mean number of nymphal ticks collected in each of the respective habitats, averaged across all of the sampled properties in a neighborhood, as described in the Methods. No tick data were collected in 2020. The total number of human and pet encounters and diagnoses represents the total for the entire neighborhood for a given year, with no data on these metrics collected in 2021 (details provided in Methods).
