Windmill in side view ; The high, conical bowl of a flute glass is mounted beneath a silver windmill. Engraved on the bowl are the arms of Stadtholder Prince Maurits and the city of Bergen-op-Zoom, and a felled tree from which grows a branch bearing five oranges to the left and a shoot with three oranges to the right. To the left of the tree is Prince Maurits's heraldic motto 'JE MAINTIENDRAY NASSAU' (I shall sustain Nassau) and to the right his motto 'TANDEM FIT SURCULUS ARBOR' (In time the sapling becomes a tree). Between the two coats of arms appears the year 1595. The silver windmill is dated 1685 and bears the inscription 'TIS AL VOL' (It is filled to the brim), while along the lower rim appear the words 'Elck Wacht Sijn Ghebuerte' (To each his turn).
