The Dutch Environmental Policy on Indoor Radiation Protection

The Dutch policy on protection against radiation indoors is reviewed in the context of the national environmental policy and radiation risk management. The policy on the radon problem in dwellings should be seen in relation to other policies, both national and international; not only environmental but also economic and housing policy. Present measures as well as measures to be taken in the future to reduce the risks of radiation in buildings are described.
