This data set presents ADCP, CTD and ADV data of frontal periods measured at two locations, 2 and 6.5 km from the shoreline, 10 km north of the Rhine River mouth (Netherlands). This data set is part of the STRAINS experiment off the Dutch coast in September 2014, which is a joint-project between different institutions, Delft University of Technology, University of Washington, National Oceanography Centre, and CINVESTAV.
