Combined datasets for the article "Asynchronous dune development on a Dutch urbanized beach due to buildings and other anthropogenic influences" ...
This dataset contains the combined datasets used to study asynchronous dune development on a Dutch urbanized coast due to buildings and other antrophogenic influences. The study site is the seaside resort of Noordwijk in the Netherlands where coastal dune development in the last 15 years showed large variations on small spatial scales. Along the dune front 17 beach pavilions are situated along a 3 kilometer stretch of coast. Data from two experiments and one long term dataset were used to study the effects of buildings and other antrophogenic activities on dune development. The data consists o... Mehr ...

Data from two experiments and one long term dataset were used to study the effects of buildings and other antrophogenic activities on dune development. The data consists of scan measurements of Terresitial (TLS), Permanent (PLS) and airborne (ALS) laser scan systems on various spatio-temporal scale which were combined in grids. The data sets consists of 31 combined TLS/PLS grids on a 400m scale over 2 years and 15 yearly ALS scans of the 3 kilometer stretch of coast.
