In this study, the view of the Dutch public towards victim-offender mediation (VOM) will be investigated. Furthermore, their (1) empathy towards offenders, (2) perceived wrongfulness/harmfulness of a crime, (3) attitude towards VOM, (4) attitude towards procedural justice will be investigated by presenting them questions in a survey about a criminal case.
