International audience ; Despite the precarious and marginal socio-political position of the Amazighlanguages, an explosion of hybrid – in form and content – culturalexpressions has been occurred in recent years. Now more than ever, theselanguages function as a central source for constructing and reconstructingthe Amazigh group identity, a process in which literacy and electronicmedia play a significant role. One of the most far-reaching and all encompassingmedia is the Internet. It allows individuals and groups to create new discourses and contexts: digital interactions. Therefore, this article examine how identity is (re)constructed in digital interactions on Amazighwebsites, and more precisely Dutch-based Amazigh websites sincethey are most advanced and regularly updated. Moreover, these websitesshow a high level of creativity, related to the large presence of Amazighpeople in the Netherlands who show a keen interest in the preservation andpromotion of their cultural tradition and identity.
