Objective : To present an overview of almost two decades of multi-faceted campaigning by the Belgian Antibiotic Policy Coordination Committee (BAPCOC) and partners, and its impact on public and prescribers’ awareness, outpatient antibiotic use, its cost and antimicrobial resistance in Belgium.
