In the Spring and Summer of 2019, Energy-SHIFTS undertook four scoping workshops based around the multi-stakeholder exploration of four ‘SSH Priority Themes’. Each workshop involved 20-30 participants, plus 2 Early-Stage Researchers, and resulted in tangible recommendations for the organisation of, and maximising the impact of, the rest of Energy-SHIFTS’ project activities. The core purpose of these workshops was to open up discussion around some of the big energy-SSH issues being funded by the European Commission. Some of the key plenary and breakout sessions were audio recorded and subsequently transcribed, and then analysed by our partners as data.
