Electrical resistivity tomography of irrigation event on potato in Belgium
The soil at the field site (N51 12:2420, E457:5220) is a podzol (WRB). Potatoes ( Solanum tuberosum L. , Zorba variety) were planted on 14/4/2018 and harvested on 10/8. The 2018 growing season was characterized by a wet, warm start in the spring, followed by a dry and warm end of spring and a very dry and very warm summer. The field was irrigated over a time span of two days per irrigation event with a hose reel sprinkler with a flow rate of 40 m³/hour.
