O objetivo do presente artigo é caracterizar os principais aspectos desse “bufão belga”, no qual Baudelaire investira suas últimas promessas de criação. ; While in keeping with the vivid interest of the 19th-century literature in the grotesque, the satirical aesthetics taking shape in La Belgique déshabillée presents incontestable signs of originality. The purpose of the present article is to characterize the main aspects of this “bouffon belge,” which holds Baudelaire’s last promise of creation. ; Tout en prolongeant la tradition d’un grotesque bien connu de son siècle, l’esthétique satirique qui s’ébauche dans La Belgique déshabillée présente des traits d’une incontestable originalité. Il s’agira ici de caractériser les principaux aspects de ce « bouffon belge », en lequel Baudelaire aura placé ses derniers espoirs de création.
