La revue comme lieu d’inscription de la poésie en Belgique à la fin du XIXe siècle : apports de l’approche systémique

This article proposes a double hypothesis: periodicals act as repositories for the history of poetry in Belgium and the polysystemic approach allows us to study the latter. Assuming that the various literatures in Belgium (such as the francophone, the Flemish, the French or the English literature) maintain systemic relations, we may suppose that exchanges take place between these different systems, even within a periodical propagating certain specific literary and aesthetic views. In this article, La Jeune Belgique (1881-1897) is submitted to the test.
