Three new localities for Gnorimus nobilis in northern Belgium (Coleoptera: Cetoniidae) ; Drie nieuwe locaties voor Gnorimus nobilis in Noord België (Coleoptera: Cetoniidae)

Gnorimus nobilis (Linnaeus, 1758) was considered a common species all over Belgium in the beginning of the previous century. However, between 1970 and 2015 in northern Belgium, it was restricted to a single known population, in and near the Sonian forest, near Brussels. In this article we report three new localities for this species discovered in 2015 and 2016, i.e. Osbroek (Aalst), an orchard in Huizingen (Beersel) and the botanical garden Jean Massart (Auderghem).
